Rider
Ruby Wong (I’m 11 and I’m back with a new bike!).
Resides
Burke Mountain, Coquitlam BC
Nearby trail system and your favourite trail?
Burke Mountain, Eagle Mountain, SFU, North Shore, and the Whistler Bike Park (WBP). I have a lot of favourite trails but for this bike, the Warden is my park bike. My hands down favourite trails for this bike are ALine and Dirt Merchant at the WBP.
What do you ride (type of terrain)? What's the intended use for your new bike?
I was so excited to ride this new bike this past season but then I broke my thumb racing at Crankworx in July, so I wasn't able to ride my new Warden until early September.
My Dad said that my new bike is a “lightweight”, go fast, park bike. It pedals but it's mainly intended for park. I didn't install a big fork, as it was too heavy for my age and weight.
Last season, I only rode the black and double black tech trails at WBP, and I was just starting to be more open to dirt jump flow trails on my Endorphin. This year is a much different story!
When I got my new bike I wasn’t too sure what to expect as it looks similar to my Endorphin but I was very surprised how different it felt. It was lighter, floatier, easier to ride and super fun! My new favourite trails in the WBP are now Aline and Dirt Merchant.
What model and colour?
My new Warden is RAW, with blue and purple accents. My dad said there is no paint to scratch, and the shiny silver gets better over time!
How tall are you?
5 feet and ride a size extra small (size 1)
How does it fit you?
As a park bike, the Warden fits great. I immediately felt right at home on it.

Did you do anything custom?
Yes! My Dad said that everything listed above is custom and the longer black lower
headset will correct my bike angles or something like that for a 27.5 wheel.
As I have grown, I now have the same size wheels front and rear (27.5).
What do you love about your new bike?
I love my Warden as it feels the same but better than my trail bike. It goes fast and jumps real well. This bike makes me feel sendy and confident. I love flying in the air on those dirt jumps.
