What type of riding do you do?
For the first time in 10 years I am not racing Downhill or Enduro and am instead focusing on school. Because of this, I've been riding more than ever on the local trails. On the North Shore, I stick to the faster rocky and rooty trails on Seymour, such as Boogie Man and Boogie Nights.
Favourite Trail?
My favourite trail is Boogie Nights. Many hard nights were worked this winter to build and stack up the berms and jumps. Now, it's super fast with a lot of great jumps, a first for the Shore. This trail always draws a crowd and gets the riders stoked.
How tall are you? How does the bike fit?
I'm 6'0" or 183cm, with a 6'4" wingspan and riding a large sized frame. The bike is the perfect size for high speed hauling and short enough to be nimble in the tight trees.

My favourite specs are my Fox 38 fork and Float X2 shock. With the Chilcotin 167, it's a great amount of small bump sensitivity yet supportive on bigger features. One thing that is a little different is I run a 60mm RaceFace Turbine stem, to keep more weight and traction over my front tire. It wasn't a big change from the 35mm stem and helped my ape index arms with my reach.
How’s the bike performing on the trails?
The bike is amazing! After 400kms of riding this year, I've had one shock service and a new pair of grips. As the saying goes, a quiet bike is a fast bike.
