Nearby trail system and your favourite trails:

My local trails are up on Cypress Mountain. My favourite trails that I grew up riding the most have to be Wutang and Roachclip. I'm lucky to be so close to some of the sickest trails out there!

What do you ride (type of terrain)?

With the smaller frame, 26” wheels, and stiff suspension, this rig absolutely rips. I definitely built it for riding jumps but I'm still going to ride tech laps on it too.

What model and colour?

Knolly Delirium - Ano Black to Raw

How tall are you? What size frame did you get? How does it fit you?

I’m 6’2” and I’m riding a medium/S3. The bike fits me great; it’s small, jibby, and feels as playful as my dirtjumper!

What's your full bike spec

Wheels: 26” rims laced to Hope Pro 2 Hubs

Suspension:

  • “AAA” Sticker Bombed Marzocchi Bomber fork
  • Fox DHX, with white Cane Creek coil
  • I don't like having a lot of adjustments on my suspension, I just wanted it to be as reliable and stiff as possible.

Crank length: 140 mm Cult BMX Cranks

And with only riding the bike a handful of times, I can confidently say that I already feel really comfortable on the setup. I was worried that it would feel weird getting used to the shorter cranks but the more centred riding stance feels crazy good! Another reason for running the short cranks is that most BMX cranks are cheap and strong, and that's exactly what I'm looking for.

Bar width: cut to 710mm.

I've been experimenting with shorter bar lengths, and I've found I really like this size for my riding style. Bars are Chromag Fu 40

Drivetrain: none!

I LOVE riding with no drivetrain. I think it teaches you how to maintain speed on the trails and forces you to corner better. It also makes the bike super quiet, and you don't have to deal with maintenance.

Grips: Antics Scooter grips.

They're super soft and feel amazing. I hate throttle grips so I put hockey tape underneath my grips so they don’t slide around.

Brakes: TRP DH Evo brakes with 220mm TRP rotors.

They deliver great power, nice modulation.

Stem: Chromag Riza direct

Pedals: Chromag Dagga

Seat: Chromag Overture

What do you love about your new bike?

This bike is truly one of a kind. Every detail feels intentional and perfectly tuned to my riding style. It’s super easy to throw around, yet it feels incredibly solid and strong. I already feel totally comfortable on it. It’s the perfect setup for messing around and having as much fun as possible.
