Where do you live?

North Vancouver, BC

Nearby trail system and your favorite trail?

I'm based in Lynn Valley (North Vancouver, BC) so I’ve been enjoying the Cache Titanium on my local trails (Fishermans and Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve area).

What do you ride (type of terrain)?  What's the intended use for your new bike?

I love escaping traffic and heading into the woods. The Cache is ideal for a quick gravel lap before or after work to get the serotonin flowing. Since my son was born six months ago, I've found myself frequently grabbing the gravel bike whenever I have a brief window to ride.

I'm also excited to take my Cache on a bikepacking adventure up the Sunshine Coast this summer, and I plan to compete in some cyclocross races with it in the fall.

What model and colour?

Cache Titanium, Raw colour

How tall are you? What size frame did you get? How does it fit you?

At 6'1", the 58 cm frame is an excellent fit for me with an 80 mm stem. The Cache is very comfortable when climbing and impressively stable on loose descents, thanks to the progressive geometry.

What's your bike spec? Did you do anything custom?

I opted for the GRX600 1x11 drivetrain/build (40T, 11-51 Cassette, 170mm cranks) for cyclocross racing, but it has been perfect for everyday gravel riding too.

I've added an Apidura 5.3 L frame bag for carrying snacks, tools, and clothing. I'm planning to add a few more bags for an upcoming bikepacking tour along the Sunshine Coast this summer.

What do you love about your new bike? How’s the bike performing?

The Cache Titanium is incredibly light and strong. Even with my frame bag packed full of tools and candy, it’s still lighter than my previous gravel bike. The bike also looks fantastic with the raw finish.

I'm thrilled to have a single bike that's perfect for touring adventures, cyclocross racing, and everyday gravel rides. But as a new dad, what I appreciate most is how easily I can grab the Cache and roll straight out of the front door for a quick, fun, and efficient ride.
