What do you ride (type of terrain)?  What's the intended use for your new bike?

My usual terrain is the techy jank of the North Shore, but come summertime, I’ll ride Dirt Merchant as much as possible.

I went with a Fugitive 140 in Dad Jeans blue

How tall are you? What size frame did you get? How does it fit you?

I’m 6ft, maybe 6’1” with FiveTens on. I went with a size large/S4 and that fits me quite well.

What's your full bike spec?

  • Stem length (which stem?): 40mm 5Dev titanium stem

  • Bar width (which bar?): 800mm OneUp carbon bar with 35mm rise

  • Dropper length? (which dropper?) And is it dropped to the collar or 2” out from the collar? : 210 One Up dropper, it’s not quite slammed, but close.

  • Crank length? (which crank?): 175mm 5Dev R-spec crank

  • What chainring tooth count? 30T 5Dev oval chainring

  • What rear cassette tooth count? 12-speed XT cassette

Knolly Bikes Fugitive 140What other custom touches did you do?

  • Tire combo? Continental Kryptotal super soft front and soft rear

  • Brakes - why did you choose those? I’m running Lewis LHP+ brakes. They look great with a ton of power.

  • I’ve got an Anomaly Switch grade to help with those steep climbs

Knolly Bikes and Anomaly Switch GradeWhat do you love about your new bike?

It pedals very well but is still ready to take on any descent. It’s a truly do-it-all bike that can handle the trails in BC - up and down! I built this bike so I could do a lap of Whistler's Lord of the Squirrels in the morning and roll over to the park for laps in the afternoon. Knolly has created a bike where you'll never ask, 'Can my bike handle this?'
