Nearby trail system and favorite trails: North Slope, Olympia. My favorite trails are Scoby and Low Key

What do you ride (type of terrain)? What's the intended use for your new bike?

I tend to ride a mix of everything but gravitate towards faster/steeper DH runs. The new bike handles these types of trails extremely well, and the ones I frequent in races.

What’s your upcoming ride plans?

My upcoming ride plans include the trails along the I90 corridor and hopefully Squamish/Whistler before the season ends.

What model and colour?

Chilcotin Size Large, Raw Fade to Seafoam

How tall are you? What size frame did you get? How does it fit you?

I’m just under 6ft and I chose a large frame. The bike fits a little on the bigger side but I appreciate the additional space. The larger size feels stable at higher speeds.

What's your bike spec? Did you do anything custom?

The bike spec is mostly the same as the out of the box GX Factory build. I swapped the stock Magura brake levers for Shimano and put on bigger rotors along with installing tire inserts.

What do you love about your new bike? How’s the ride performance?

I appreciate the bike's ability to maintain speed in rougher sections due to the added travel. For being a big bike, it is capable of being thrown around in the air. It rides quiet, solid, and smooth even when things get rowdy.
