Knolly Warden Bike CheckNearby trail system and your favorite trails:

Seymour and Cypress Mountain. Fav trails: Meat Sweats and Pingu

What do you ride (type of terrain)?

I wanted a good pedal bike that feels solid on any trail/feature.

What model and colour?

Warden 170, anodized purple

How tall are you? What size frame did you get?

I'm 5,5" and am riding the size small/S2. It fits perfect

Knolly WardenWhat's your full bike spec?

  • Fork: Fox 38 Factory

  • Shock: EXT Storia V3 Lok, 350 spring

  • Drivetrain: Shimano XT

  • Crank length? 170mm

  • What chainring tooth count? 32

  • What rear cassette tooth count? 10-51T

  • Stem length (which stem?) Chromag Hifi, 31mm

  • Bar width (which bar?) Chromag OSX LTD, 160mm

  • Dropper length? (which dropper?) And is it dropped to the collar or 2” out from the collar? SDG Tellis 200mm, 2 inches

Knolly WardenWhat other custom touches did you do?

  • Tire combo? Maxxis Minion DHF, Exo + , max grip front, Maxxis Minion DHF, DD, max grip rear for more downhill focused riding

  • Grips - why did you choose those? Raceface grips for colour and comfort

  • Brakes - why did you choose those? Shimano XT, stock brakes. They work well and are reliable and easy to service

  • Wheels- Nobl TR 37 wheels with Hope Pro 5 hubs. I need reliable wheels that dont need a lot of maintenance and this combination gives me confidence on every ride

Knolly WardenWhat do you love about your new bike?

“I’m blown away by how capable and smooth the Warden feels on gnarly terrain — it eats up rough sections while still climbing with incredible pedaling efficiency. It fits my riding style perfectly and feels ready to take on any trail or feature I throw at it.

I’ve always struggled to find a bike that can pedal efficiently and still send big features and float effortlessly off jumps, the Warden checks every box. And honestly — the purple frame? I’m completely obsessed."
