How tall are you? What's your inseam?

I am 155cm with about a 70cm inseam, so basically 5’1 with 27” inseam.

Knolly Bikes Delirium Bike CheckWhat size frame?

My new Delirium is a S2/Small which is the same as my other Knolly models and my previous Delirium. I am really an S1 according to the current sizing chart but stayed with the size up to give me the length for downhill racing. The wheel base measures about 10mm longer than my previous limited edition Zessel painted Delirium.

What’s your build spec?

The Delirium Rough AF Ano Black frame came with a 205x65 Rockshox Vivid Ultimate straight from Knolly HQ. I added a new set of Boxxer Ultimate fork at 200mm for the 29er mullet setup. The shock and forks have been treated with custom metallic holographic reflective decals from Slick Graphics for a touch of colour. Matching these are the Muc-Off valves in an oil slick colour. With the bike being a hot combination of black and raw, I didn’t want to add too much in the way of colour, so stayed with little things throughout the build.

I race with Magura MT7 brakes with 203mm rotors front and rear, standard yellow highlight rings.

My drive train came over from my previous build which is a SRAM 7-speed X01 DH drive train but with new shorter 165mm cranks.

I use Spank 359 Vibrocore wheels and Pirelli Scorpion Race tires (DH M front and DH T rear) with a Tannus Armour insert in the rear.

And protecting the frame is RideWrap protection.

What are you running in your cockpit?

Most of my cockpit came across from my last build, a Spank setup with Vibrocore bars in the team colour (black with yellow writing) at 750mm wide with 30mm rise in a short 40mm direct mount stem. Colour added by pink Deity grips and a single 5mm toxic barbie pink headset spacer (the rest are black). A solid seat post set really low for downhill with a Spank saddle, brightly coloured oil-slick One-Up flat pedals on the shorter 165mm cranks. Only challenge in the build was getting the Boxxer dual crown spacing correct with the head tube length.

Delirium Bike checkWhat’s the intended use (where are you riding it)?

My Delirium is my new downhill race bike. As a Knolly Regional athlete, I ride and race both gravity enduro and downhill at local and state levels here in Australia with some national level events as my university schedule permits.
As a new build, my main riding is at Stromlo here in Canberra while I get used to running the Rockshox suspension instead of Fox. The first big outing for the new Delirium was the NSW State Downhill Champs in Orange in September 2024, where I took the win.

Where do you live?

I live in Canberra Australia. I am lucky to be studying at university here and there is lots of riding close by.

What’s your favourite trail?

Really any old school technical and off camber raw tracks. Currently the Stromlo World Cup A-Line would be my go to track for the new Delirium

Why do you love your new ride?

I'm loving the sleek new frame design and the really tough Ano Black finish. After just a few rides, the Delirium has boosted my confidence- it handles incredibly well! I've put it to the test on the rocky downhill trails at Stromlo and it delivered!
